Native to Bergerac (French Nationality), Sylvia Cazeneuve began to study music when she was 7: she studied Saxophone and Solfege at the Conservatoire of Bagnères de Luchon. At age 9, she passed the entrance exam to the National Conservatoire of Toulouse with an outstanding performance and continued her training there. In 1996, she got into University of Toulouse which enabled her to study musicology while deepening her musical knowledge. She always had a high interest in different vocal expressions with concerning lyric performing and in developing different fields (lyric, choir, composing, recording). She is now looking forward to developing an original and divers experience in the lyric field as she performs as a full lyric dramatic soprano in France and abroad.
Since 2003, she has been trained in Toulouse with the lyric tenor Jean-Paul Caffi, since 2007 with the lyric soprano Nicole Fournié and has attended several master classes of which the ones of Alain Buet, Maarten Koningsberger, Margret Honig, Michel Sénéchal, Gabriel Bacquier and Montserrat Caballé.
Since 2009, she has been honorary artistic advisor for the Rencontres Lyriques de Luchon she has been a vocal teacher in singing's classes. In 2009 she took part in the Nîmes International Singing Competition and won First Prize ex aequo and the public vote.
